The OTA would like to announce the 2013-2014 James T. Newell Scholarship recipients.  Both Scott Van Atta and Jake Fewx are undergraduate tuba players at the University of Oregon.  

Thanks to everyone who joined the Oregon Tuba Association’s Tuba Carol Christmas.  We battled the elements, returned to our outdoor roots, and had a lovely time priming the audience for the Springfield Christmas Parade!!

Michael Grose, professor of tuba at University of Oregon, invited David Fedderly to give a master class to the Oregon Tuba Ensemble. Four members of the Ensemble received individual instruction from Mr. Fedderly, and he also listened to and evaluated the Ensemble.
